About the Team

Join our international Purchasing team and contribute to optimizing supplier performance, purchasing processes, and supply chain efficiency across multiple locations. In this role, you will work closely with suppliers, product management, sales, logistics, and finance teams to ensure a competitive and reliable supplier portfolio. You will support strategic sourcing activities, cost optimization initiatives, and decision-making in a dynamic global environment.

What you can look forward to as Purchasing Specialist (m/f/d):

• Develop complex purchasing analyses and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluations to get the best results of the supplier portfolio;
• Manage supplier communication, RFQs, offer evaluations, negotiations, and follow-up activities;
• Coordinate global master data maintenance in ERP systems throughout the product lifecycle;
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and support supplier relocation and supply chain optimization projects;
• Analyze performance results, and coordinate improvement actions;
• Prepare purchasing reports, supplier overviews, annual planning figures, and decision-making analyses;
• Support make-or-buy decisions, pricing activities, bonus verification, and resolution of pricing issues in ERP systems;
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders globally to ensure efficient purchasing and supply chain processes.

Your profile as Purchasing Specialist (m/f/d):

• Commercial education in wholesale, foreign trade, business administration, or a comparable field;
• Approximately 5 years of professional experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management;
• Strong analytical skills with experience in supplier portfolio management and cost optimization;
• Hands-on experience with SAP R/3, BPCS, and MS Office applications (Excel and PowerBI);
• Ability to work effectively in an international and cross-functional environment;
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
• Self-organized, structured, proactive, and solution-oriented way of working;
• Fluent English required; additional languages are considered an advantage.
