About The Team

We are looking for a new colleague Supplier Quality Engineer for the Turining & Machining parts for our Division Chassis Solutions at our location of Shanghai, China. 

What you can look forward to as Supplier Quality Engineer - Turning & Machining Parts:

• Develop and manage the local turning / machining suppliers on quality and on delivery to support project needs for turning / machining parts, and pushing suppliers for continuous improvement to meet quality target.  
• Perform supplier technical review and feasibility study to support sourcing decision.
• Track supplier APQP/PPAP, monitor supplier quality and process to ensure project flawless launch, and use various problem solving methodologies like 6 sigma & Red-X and use 8D tools to verify supplier quality and the process to define and execute improvement activity.
• Work closely with global commodity team for strategic tasks. Support plants for supplier quality activities.
• All other duties assigned. 

Your Profile as Supplier Quality Engineer - Turning & Machining Parts:

• Bachelor’s Degree (BS) from University, with majors in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or similar. Expert with turning parts, and well know the key quality controls and measurement tools. Has APQP-Process-knowledge. Fluent in  English, Chinese is wished since majority of the work loads will be in China. Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Better with 3 years working experience or more in supplier quality/quality field in the automotive industry. Be familiar with quality system such as ISO/TS 16949. VDA6.3 trained certification is preferred, it’s better that have VDA6.3 auditor card. Has good knowledge of material specification and testing standards.
• Be skilled of project management operation. Has proactive and strict working style. Good at communication and team work.
• Flexible for extensive travels.
