About the Team

We are a Supplier Quality team with full responsibility for suppliers in ZF Serbia, as well as for selected suppliers within the E-Division. We work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality standards throughout the product lifecycle. Our team is young, motivated, and committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What you can look forward to as Supplier Development Engineer :

• Manage supplier quality activities for components in new projects and change management processes
• Conduct technical reviews with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and customer requirements
• Lead and perform APQP activities with suppliers to achieve zero-defect targets for prototype, launch, and serial production parts
• Drive supplier escalation processes and coordinate corrective actions
• Plan and conduct VDA 6.3 second-party audits at supplier locations
• Perform Measurement System Analysis (R&R studies) at supplier sites
• Support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Act as the quality interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders

Your Profile as Supplier Development Engineer:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a comparable technical field
• Professional experience in the automotive industry with strong technical understanding
• Solid knowledge of IATF 16949 and Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
• Experience in conducting VDA 6.3 audits is considered an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% to 50% of working time
• Fluent English language skills
• Valid driver's license
