Field Service Manager

About the Team
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Manager – Marine to lead our marine service operations. This role oversees technical service delivery, team capability, and service profitability while acting as a key link between local service teams, regional functions, and factory Centers of Competence.

 

What you can look forward to as Field Service Manager – Marine:

  • Lead and manage marine service teams across mechanical and control systems
  • Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex service issues and escalations
  • Ensure service quality, safety compliance, and operational readiness
  • Oversee service performance including revenue, cost control, and manpower planning
  • Drive team capability development through training and coaching initiatives
  • Support dealer network development and service standards
  • Act as a key interface with factories and regional teams on warranty and technical topics


Your Profile as Field Service Manager – Marine:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 11–12 years of experience in marine engineering or service operations
  • Strong knowledge of marine mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems (PLC knowledge is an advantage)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical schematics
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel offshore and overseas as required
  • Proficient in English; additional Southeast Asian languages are a plus
