Software Application Engineer E-Mobility

About tthe Team:

We are expanding our E-Mobility team in the Commercial Vehicle System Division at the Budapest / Eger location.

Your activity as a SW e-mobility application engineer includes the software application of our drive systems (requirement, specification, integration and validation) in the simulation environment and in the vehicle. The job requires close cooperation with Development as well as international locations and direct contact with the customer.

What you can look forward to as Software Application Engineer E-Mobility:  

• Managing, coordinating, controlling and supervising comprehensive projects in the Software Application as well as specifying the technical requirements and work contents for the assigned application tasks
• Further developing and calibrating the driveline software of functional or modular groups with numerous variables that influence each other, considering the effects on the overall system and the project objectives
• Ensuring the overall functionality and installation inspection of the components (high-voltage system) on the target vehicle at the customer as well as troubleshooting, analyzing and defining measures for troubleshooting in the overall system
• Validating the system functionalities, according to specifications as well as evaluating, analyzing and interpreting the provided data
• Responsible for releasing the software for volume production
• Handling of calibration data / Data-Management (vCDM Center) and EOL
• Defining and standardizing superordinate SW application processes and documentation as well as implementing subject-specific training courses

Your profile as Software Application Engineer E-Mobility:

• Engineering degree in electrical engineering, electronics, automotive engineering, information technology with at least 3 years of professional experience in application development
• Knowledge and experience of the tools of CANape/CANalyzer (Vector), Matlab Simulink and model-based SW design
• Good analytical skills, structured working methods
• High self-motivation and independent working with excellent communication and team skills
• Confident and reliable manner in contact with customers and suppliers
• Good command of written and spoken English, German knowledge is beneficial
• Willingness to international travel, truck/bus driver's license is an advantage
