About the Team

We are looking for a new colleague in the MM Dept. at our location in Zhangjiagang.

What you can look forward to as Operational Buyer:

• Responsible for sourcing and supplier management for Facility Management &
• Energy spend below 100KEUR request by user department of ZJG.
• Work on assigned commodities code, to drive regional strategies and actions to achieve budget, cost reduction and competitive sourcing targets.
• Coordinate and benchmark best practices and suppliers. Initiate and evaluate quotations to determine the most cost-effective sources available.
• Recommend cost saving proposals including make versus buy analysis, alternate sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria
• Manage supply base including creation or renewal of contracts, purchase orders or agreements. Conduct supplier assessments for potential new suppliers.
• Support to maintain the regional approved supplier list as part of the NPM strategy
• Monitor supplier performance.
• Maintain all records and documentation, of requests for quotation purchase order initiation, cost reduction reporting and all other daily transactions in accordance with established ZF policies and procedures.

Your Profile as Operational Buyer:

• 5+years related experience in Purchasing, Operations or Project Management.
• Familiar with purchasing process, capable in handling commercial contracts, negotiation ability.
• Experience of supplier management.      
• Good data analysis skill.  
• Quick learning capability, and able to be quick and efficient in solving problems.
• Good management skills and ability of decision-making.
• Highly responsibilities, honestly, teamwork spirit.
