About the Team

The ADAS Quality team ensures flawless customer experience by driving continuous improvement, resolving quality concerns, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The team works closely with global engineering and manufacturing sites to uphold the highest standards of product performance and reliability.

 

What you can look forward to as ADAS Senior Customer Quality Engineer:

  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve quality issues and drive quality improvement activities.
  • Ensure reliable customer support and continuous improvement of process performance.
  • Prepare technical analysis, summary reports, and quality data insights to support decision‑making.
  • Lead and support quality investigations, including customer‑specific reporting in required formats and portals.
  • Prepare APQP and PPAP documentation, including control plans, flow changes, and capability studies.
  • Coordinate and respond to customer complaints using 8D, 3x5W, 5P, Ishikawa or other required formats.
  • Support quality improvement plans for customers and manufacturing plants.
  • Lead quality topics during customer commercial and contract reviews.

 

Your Profile as ADAS Senior Customer Quality Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; minimum 5+ years of experience (10+ years preferred).
  • Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese; able to communicate effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of CSRs, APQP/PPAP, automotive product development, and electronic hardware design, development, and testing.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB) and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred; proficient in statistical problem‑solving methods and tools (Minitab, JMP, etc.).
  • Project management expertise with the ability to lead cross‑functional activities and quality investigations.
  • Hands‑on experience with electronic hardware test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer), soldering, and computer‑controlled equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer liaison skills; capable of resolving adversarial situations professionally.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and strong root‑cause analysis capabilities; willingness to travel approximately 25–30%.
