About the Team
The position belongs to Aftermarket (AM) division to involve in marketing and communication functions for ZF Aftermarket 5 premium product brands and service concepts in Japan.
It is directly reporting to a marketing leader of Asia-Pacific (AP) region in the AM Division, but she/he needs to work closely with Japan local internal stakeholders of the AM division. 
There are over 20 team members in AM division in Japan from Field sales, Sales support, Technical Service, & Operations team. 
The position is responsible for the role of business development directly reporting to AM Division head in Japan, coordinating strategic projects of new product and service / digital solutions / workshop concept etc. 


What you can look forward as Marketing Specialist and Business Development

  • Develop and execute 5 PREMIUM brand and marketing plans of Japan to drive awareness, customer acquisition, engagement and conversion in all communication channels (print, online, websites, social media, etc.), based on understanding of local market and customer insights, in line with the Next Generation Aftermarket strategy strategies, standards and expectations and finally improve Marketing efficiency & Marketing ROI 
  • Work with head of Subregion Japan to develop growth strategy for aftermarket business, to better generate “PULL” from market, focusing on brand building, multi house of brands, route-to-market business model and emerging channels etc. 
  • Ensure deployment of consistent market messaging and effective content marketing across target groups and subregion in order to enforce push effects & to trigger customer pull for all categories.
  • Initiate & drive field & promotional marketing campaigns in Business Leaders & Subregion in support of Marketing strategy & strategic business goals.
  • Organize and coordinate industrial exhibition & fair and local events of Aftermarket Division, in conjunction with Corporate Marketing & Communications (VC)
  • Build up regular and effective communication with industry, automobile, finance and KOL/KOC, in addition to distribute their own content, planned related topics and using different media resources to maximize the dissemination of news points. 
  • Subregional Marketing budget planning & results monitoring
  • Lead and manage the market intelligence resources and work out feasible analysis to support business initiatives in Japan. 


Your profile as Marketing Specialist and Business Development

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Finance, or a related business field preferred
  • 5 years’ experience in marketing organization or business analysist role in Manufacturing or Trading companies for B2B products. Automotive (Aftermarket) experiences are preferable. 
  • Have the knowledge of automotive industry and auto parts businesses, market trends in innovation.
  • Work experience in multinational companies or work in overseas.  
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects from inception to completion with accountability for goal setting and results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient command of English and Japanese
  • Outstanding in PPT and Excel, strong business sense
  • Strategic thinking strong/demonstrated analytical capability, good at numbers.
  • Pleasant personality, with great patience and good in details
  • Creative in the application and / or development of analytical tools
  • Quick learner and easy to understand and adapt to different business cultures.
