About the Team:

The position belongs to the Aftermarket (AM) division to streamline ZF Aftermarket's five premium product brands and service concepts in Japan. Aftermarket division offers products and services related to the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of products after their initial sale. In Japan, more than 15 professionals from Sales, Sales Support, Technical Service, and Operations work together to drive business growth and customer success.

 

What you can look forward to as IAM Sales:
•    Develop and execute sales plans, forecasts, and initiatives to achieve IAM sales and profitability targets. 
•    Manage and develop distributors to maximize performance and strengthen long-term business partnerships. 
•    Identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive activities to drive business growth opportunities. 
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors through effective communication and negotiation. 
•    Serve as the primary customer interface and coordinate commercial activities with key stakeholders. 
•    Resolve customer issues related to quality, delivery, and service in collaboration with internal teams. 
•    Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

 

Your Profile as IAM Sales: 
•    Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience; automotive industry experience is preferred.
•    Experience in distributor or channel management is considered a strong advantage.
•    Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
•    Results-oriented, self-driven, and capable of working with a high level of ownership and accountability.
•    Ability to analyze customer requirements and market opportunities to develop effective sales strategies.
•    Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and possession of a valid Japanese driver's license.
