Position: JOEM Quality Leader
Location: Kannai, Yokohama (Nissan) / Toyota, Aichi (Toyota)
Report to: JOEM Quality Director
<<Responsibilities>>
Responsible for all the global quality management for the designated JOEM customer, which includes team
management in Japan and remote management of local/global locations to achieve satisfactory quality performance.
You will also be responsible, as an experienced senior window person for the OEM, for any quality related issues
occurred/occurring at manufacturing plants across the globe, its corrective action and all the communication with the
OEM.
Management:
Cultivate and maintain OEM focused mind-set and discipline in the team
s quality policy and standard
Set the goal, action plan and short/mid/long term strategy for the customer aligning with company strategic
objectives and goals. Drive & support related ZF Divisions to excel with the aim to grow ZF business.
Skill
Specific Requirements)
Build the system to monitor the performance of customer business unit (Key Performance Indicator and
other)
Lead necessary collective/improvement action in a timely manner and apply horizontal development in
different locations globally
Monitor, analyze and assess progress and effectiveness of corrective action/improvement activity for
continuous improvement
Pursue and reach strategic objectives locally and globally
Customer Interface:
Collect Voice of Customer (VoC) to have awareness of how customer perceives ZF and what customer is
aiming ZF to achieve in terms of quality performance. Escalate VoC internally whilst providing guidance to
the business on how to resolve issues (Local and global)
service quality such as supply chain, speed of action/correspondence/response, etc.
Interface with the customer for significant quality related issue including report document review and
submission (8D, ICA/PCA and others)
Lead high impact Quality related customer events locally and globally including the preparation of
necessary material (Presentation, report, etc.)

EDUCATION:
Skills & Experience:
Work experience as Quality leader in a multinational OEM/Tier-1 auto-parts supplier company, or in a
Japanese company with overseas assignment as an expat
Strong experience as Quality leader with the designated JOEM customer
Understanding of diverse culture and ability to handle its complexity.
Strong leadership skills and ability to lead in a matrixed organization
Highly effective communication and presentation skills to influence at all levels in the organization.
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of quality management systems and support practices.
Knowledge of a wide range of problem-solving tools and methodologies.
High level of personal accountability
Willingness to travel
