Field Support Engineer - ADAS CV Project

About the Team:
ADAS CV Japan is development department for ADAS technology which is part of Automated Driving in ZF technology domain and integrated into commercial vehicles.
The role of field support engineer is responsible for on-site support at JOEM and coordination to prepare Prototype Radar/Camera ECUs communicating with internal/external stakeholders for on-time delivers to Customers. 
Also, the role is expected to support EPM (Engineering Project Manager) about Project administration tasks.

• Software re-flashing of Radar/Camera ECU and coordinating prototype delivers
• Supporting Radar/Camera static alignment at Customer Plants/Customer on-sites
• First level technical support on field returned parts for Customer and internal stakeholders
• Project related administration tasks to support EPMs 
• Coordinating across cross-functional teams

Your profile as Field Support Engineer – ADAS CV Project:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or software engineering
• At least 2-3 years of experience on Automotive ECUs or embedded software engineering.
• Ability to communicate at a business level in both Japanese and English
• Good understanding of vehicle communication networks (CAN / CAN-FD), diagnostic communication (UDS) and µC embedded system.
• Intermediate level English skill at both oral and writing; German is a plus.•    Sense of ownership and teamwork
• Experiences to use Vector tools (CANalyzer/CANape/CANoe) and Software Reprogramming tools
• Experiences to use Configuration Management (Windchill RV&S Client etc)
• Prefer to have some experience on these field; understanding of vehicle control systems (e.g., ACC, LDW, AEB), sensor technologies (LiDAR, cameras, radar, ultrasonic sensors), knowledge of ISO 26262 and ASIL (Automotive Safety Integrity Level)
