Key responsibilitie:

a. Understand and know about ZF HSE requirements, local regulations concerning Health, Safety and Environmental aspects. Convey the HSE procedures, laws and regulations in an easily understood way to all ZF Wuhan employees.

  • Organize the periodically risk assessment and identify any potential risks, which may cause accident, to obstruct hazardous activities, which expose to such risks and notify to both individuals and managers.
  • Complete and maintain reports i.e., Health, Safety, Accident, Environment, both periodically and occasionally, which is required by law, or International Standards.
  • Introduce HSE programs for all employees and promote safety awareness at all times.

 

b. Develop procedures, checklists, and training procedures for all aspects of HSE at Wuhan plant.

Skill matrix assessment for the key staffs and prepare the annual training needs and implement the proper training.

  • Encounter arising accident, stop every activity which will endanger to employee and assets, perform first aid for victim, investigating root cause of accident, propose corrective action.
  • plan and present to managers, Plant Manager.
  • Develop the PPE distribution standard according to regional HSE requirements;
  • Issue, develop and maintain safety regulations. In liaison with line manager to ensure these regulations are combined in the work instruction and respected by employee.
  • Ensures that HSEMS requirements are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the HSEM Program and the ISO14001&OHSAS18001 standard.
  • Coordinates the development of procedures and work instructions.

 

c. Develop audit program to make sure HSE procedures and regulations are being well implemented and being followed at ZF Wuhan.

  • Organize an internal semi-annual MS audit;
  • Support plant manager to set up annual HSE target and objectives base on Tier1 requirements;
  • Accesses legal & other requirements, and maintains a list of applicable requirements.
  • Reports HSEMS non-conformances to top management.

 

d. Participate the management of change for each new, upgrade, re-location, modification project and work with related department to conduct proper risk re-assessment and implement PSSR(pre-start safety review) for each equipment, and support to prepare the effective corrective actions;

 

e. Develop and coach HSE engineer to ensure team member has strong HSE knowledge and skills.

 

f. Conduct the annual security audit for ZF Wuhan plant base on global HSE requirements;

 

Basic Requirements

At least 5 years related HSE working experience, more than 1 year management experience as team leader is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.  Law or health and safety related major is preferred.

Able to communicate fluently in English and Chinese. CET 4 is a must
