Quality Engineer in Product Engineering

Your tasks:

• Define and execute the Quality Assurance product engineering plan for dedicated projects (mechatronic systems inc. SW development) within the organization
• Facilitate Project teams in understanding, defining and adhering to the development process established and ensure transfer of knowledge and best practices across teams and projects
• Planning and conducting assessments, analyzing and approving project specific process requirements as well as participation in process improvement workshops
• Escalate, report, track internal and external issues according to process
• Analyze and release project specific process tailoring
• Track and report project progress from Quality standpoint
• Accountable for closure of customer escalations in project; support customer audits and assessments

Your profile:

• Diploma in Electronics, Software, Mechatronics Engineering or similar discipline and some experience in quality assurance activities for SYS/SW-based systems (the automotive industry would an asset)
• Process knowledge in SW development process (A-SPICE desired) required, experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262), Cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434) and project management favorable
• Software development tool knowledge, such as DOORS, Code Beamer or Integrity
• Strong leadership in projects and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of standards ISO9001, ATF 16949
• Experience with quality methods and technics (8D, Control Plan, 5 Why, Ishikawa, ...)
• Fluent business English written and spoken (additional German nice to have).
