For our team Platform Architecture Strategy in Wroclaw, we are looking for a

 

Platform Functional Safety Engineer (m/f/d)
 

This team is part of central product engineering and responsible globally for defining and driving standardized and sustainable solutions for our electronic products. The area of responsibility includes electronics, software, sensors and electromechanics actuators.


Your responsibilities:
•    Planning and monitoring of safety activities of our modular platform,
•    In depth safety analysis (FTA, FMEDA, DFA) in accordance with ISO 26262 and creating respective reports,
•    Transforms safety goals into technical safety requirements,
•    Creates the safety case report including the safety analysis results,
•    Support for our product lines with integrating the modular platform into the safety architecture of a product or system,
•    Coordinate functional safety globally,
•    Supporting Fault Injection Tests specifications and test result evaluation,
•    Driving and supporting of process improvements in product engineering.
 

Your qualification:
•    Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or Physics,
•    Fundamental experience / knowledge in electronic development, especially with integrated components like microprocessors and SoCs,

•    Basic experience / knowledge in software design and development,

•    Experience / knowledge of safety related engineering processes and analysis methods (e.g. FTA, FMEDA, FMEA, DFA), with focus on ISO26262, part 5 and 6,
•    Professional experience and proven track record as a functional safety engineer for electronic hardware of at least three years,
•    Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and assertiveness,
•    Experience in embedded electronic engineering practices within the automotive or aviation industry is preferred,
•    Fluent in English,
•    Experience with Automotive SPICE is an asset.
 

As a Platform Functional Safety Engineer, you are a team player who can work in a global environment and have excellent communication skills including presentations to senior management. You are highly organized with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks and projects to a successful completion.
