Methods, Tools, & Digitalization Engineer

Your Tasks:

• As an experienced tester you have a good knowledge of the testing tool landscape. You know how to use tools efficiently to support processes and data acquisition needs; 
• You take care of strategic digitalization topics of the Test & Validation organization: You support initiatives to introduce and further develop new tools and methods from early ideas via the definition stage to the final roll-out to the testing community; 
• As a methods and tools engineer you are a consultant for the local and global testing teams regarding professional tool usage, methods applications, and project setup according to CVS PEP and Automotive SPICE processes; 
• You support onboarding of new colleagues and provide guidance and coaching, also to experienced testers;
• You strive to synchronize testing topics globally across the different testing sites. 

Your profile:

• 3+ years of experience as a tester and/or test manager;
• You know how to work with state of the art testing tools for test specification, test request handling, data acquisition, and test reporting;
• You know how to use an application lifecycle management tool like PTC Integrity to manage requirements and test specifications in a consistent and traceable way; 
• You are interested in trying and rolling-out new tools, e.g. the tool “Codebeamer” that shall replace “PTC Integrity”;
• Knowledge of CVS PEP, Automotive SPICE, and ISO 26262 are a plus;
• You feel comfortable in global project environments; 
• You like being a trainer and coach; 
• Experience with device or system qualification test catalogues is a plus.
