Mechanical Designer eMobility

We are extending our mechanical design team for trailer products in Wroclaw with a focus on eMobility solutions. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative mechanical solutions for these applications and supporting the project team throughout the entire development process.

What you can look forward to as Mechanical Designer eMobility (m/f/d):

• Mechanical integration concept development and package analysis for eMobility trailer solutions based on customer and system development inputs;
• Deduce component specific requirements from customer inputs to fulfil the respective use-cases;
• Design, construction and simulation (FEM) of holding frames, boxes etc. to contain all eMobility system components like high-voltage batteries and thermal management system including optimization of key objectives like weight, manufacturability, cost, etc.;
• Cable and cooling pipe routing incl. design of suitable fixation points;
• Support component testing as well as vehicle integration activities both remote and on-site.

Your Profile as a Mechanical Designer eMobility (m/f/d):

• Bachelor’s Engineering Degree, preferred in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics; 
• 3 years of professional experience in an Engineering setting: automotive industry preferred; 
• Experience with common CAD & FEM tools (Creo, Ansys); 
• Expertise in designing and simulating of chassis structures; 
• Manufacturing Process Knowledge: plastic injection, die casting, sheet metal processing; 
• Familiarity with DFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, as well as GD&T; 
• Excellent speaking and writing proficiency in English and Polish; 
• Experience with ECE regulations (e.g. ECE R73) preferred.
