As a Technical Editor, you will transform complex technical information into user-friendly documentation, visuals and multimedia content supporting our product portfolio. What you can look forward to as Technical Editor - CV (m/f/d):

• Creation of technical documentation for ZF's CV product portfolio (e.g. repair and maintenance instructions, operating instructions, installation instructions);
• Creation of graphics, photos and technical drawings based on 3D-models as mandatory input for technical documentation like maintenance and repair manuals;
• Tracing photos/screenshots;
• Project mgt to ensure on time and in quality delivery of requested input;
• Execution of usability tests of technical documentation to ensure trouble free maintenance and repair to increase customer satisfaction.

Your profile as Technical Editor - CV (m/f/d):

• Technical Degree or relevant experience;
• Training/experience in technical editing;
• Ability to depict complex technical correlations via media (media competence, e.g. creation of how-to film);
• Experience in dealing with CAD (e.g. ProE) and PLM systems (e.g. Windchill);
• Very good communication skills and experience in managing projects;
• Training/experience in image processing - desirable;
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English mandatory, very good knowledge of spoken and written German desirable;
• Technical understanding and practical workshop experience regarding Commercial Vehicle components and products - desirable.
