About The Team

This Job Role is part of Job Family "Material & Distribution" / Sub-Job-Family "Logistic Supplier Development" and includes all jobs which are accountable for selecting, qualifying and developing Supplier relations, Supplier services and products, and the related processes. The team is international, and consists of members from different countries.

What you can look forward to as Supplier Logistics Expert

• Leading of supplier escalation performance cases for the region EMEA in cooperation with representatives of the supplier and internal cross-functions
• Regular coverage analysis as well as bottleneck management to secure the Supply Chain 
• Organization and execution of supplier visits and audits
• Identification and definition of capacity increase measures together with the suppliers and cross-functions as well as tracking the status of the measures
• Regular alignments with the plant logistics representatives to identify risky suppliers
• Negotiation of consignment contracts with suppliers

Your profile as Supplier Logistics Expert

• Completed degree in logistics, engineering or business combined with min. 2 -3 years of professional experience in logistics / SCM
• Good MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Good knowledge of SAP ERP system 
• Independent systematic work, strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, pro-active, creativity, and ‘can-do’ attitude 
• Fluent communication skills in English
• International competence and willingness to travel
