Senior Divisional Accountant

Job Description

Drive actual financial reporting process for the Division through monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, and to ensure proper financial reporting in compliance with ZF Group Accounting requirements.

What you can look forward to as Senior Divisional Accountant (m/f/d):

• Manage and monitor financial reporting process and reporting requirements at the Divisional level.
• Manage accounting closing & reporting for Divisional reporting units, manage central calculations.
• Ensure proper accounting of customer contracts in compliance with IFRS15 requirements, including internal and external audit support.
• Control data quality for actual results, prepare correcting/adjusting journal entries, and work with Finance teams to resolve any issues.
• Examine supporting documentation, identify, research, and correct questionable accounting transactions.
• Provide accounting guidance on business transactions where required.
• Serve as an expert / lead in accounting projects, support upgrades and modification of existing systems, support improvements / adjustments of internal control procedures and reporting process.
   

Your Profile as Senior Divisional Accountant (m/f/d):

• Several years’ work experience in similar jobs;
• Knowledge of accounting systems and processes applicable to the accounting function;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
• Advanced level of technological, organizational, and analytical skills;
• Advanced skills in Excel and other MS Office products; 
• Experience gathering, assembling, consolidating, and analyzing data;
• Ability to work in an international environment.
