About the Team

The Senior Commodity Buyer is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for assigned commodities to ensure cost effective procurement, strong supplier performance, and effective risk mitigation. The role includes managing strategic supplier relationships, negotiating commercial terms, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to support business objectives.

In this position, you will contribute to commodity strategy development, analyze market trends, drive cost optimization initiatives, and support new product development. You will work closely with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure alignment across functions and continuous improvement in supplier performance.

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodities;
• Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and supply risks to support sourcing decisions;
• Manage and develop strategic supplier relationships, including performance reviews;

Your Profile as Senior Commodity Buyer (m/f/d):

• Degree  preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or commodity management;
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills;
• Knowledge of global sourcing and supply chain best practices;
• Experience with strategic sourcing methodologies and familiarity with cost modeling and total cost of ownership analysis - nice to have;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment - nice to have;
• High Pressure Die Casting experience would be a plus;
• Fluent English.
