Your tasks: 


• Assess sourcing needs with project leader for assigned programs/projects
• Perform total cost analysis, preparing basis for decision during the project execution phase (BOM cost, tooling, supplier development cost);
• Initiate and drive on time sourcing activities for components as required to meet QCD targets for assigned programs/projects
• Prepare, maintain and report a consolidated view of project from the Sourcing & Purchasing perspective
• Order prototypes, tools and samples required for assigned programs/projects
• Provide support to plant for all supplier / material issues for assigned product group


Your profile: 


• Degree in Engineering (Economic, Business Administration, industrial engineering or related)
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in sourcing and purchasing, project management with multiple suppliers/partners  (preferably within automotive)
• Good knowledge of MS office package (especially Excel); knowledge of SAP and PLM would be an asset 
• Fluent in English, knowledge of German would be an advantage
• Analytical thinking and result orientation; ability to analyse and present a big amount of data; dealing with ambiguity
• Good communication skills and assertiveness; cooperation with cross functional teams
