About the Team
The team consists of multiple functions: Product-, Project and Market Managers, combined for the product segments Transmission & Hybrid and eMobility. 
In total there are 5 Market Managers (2 for emob, 1 for general topics and 2 for transmission and hybrids).

 

What you can look forward to as Market Manager (m/f/d):

 For all products in PS TTT, but with main focus on the product Powerline:

  • Sales Management – Quote management (CQ), profitability management (in regards of pricing), product positioning, product segmentation, etc. Develop and contribute to Business Cases for business acquisition and - retention
  • Planning/Reporting – Provision of product/market/location planning parameters for TT in OP/SP; assure data quality in planning systems (Polaris, S4C), plausibility of product, volume, price planning, representation of SP/OP in the PS
  • Market Initiatives – Identification of market potentials; support, assistance, and enforcement of strategic market initiatives
  • Global Sales – Global support, assistance, and assurance of PL sales goals/strategies across CVS regions. Help identify and pursue potential business opportunities.
  • Sales Business Development – Market-side support of strategic projects (e.g., collaborations) in cooperation with internal and external interfaces
  • Market Intelligence – Systematic collection and analysis of product-related customer and market information. Create and maintain an understanding of PL’s market, market position and offering, as well as know competitor offering / USPs / Value Proposition (i.e. drive benchmarking)
  • Project Management – Representing market perspective and interface with the global sales organization in development projects (GDPEP)
  • Analytics –  Track performance of portfolio (i.e. net sales evolution, outperformance, margin, raw material evolution) and initiate activities when appropriate to keep sustainable business. 

 

Your Profile as Market Manager (m/f/d):

  • Higher education;
  • Min 3 – 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, application or controlling;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Build and maintain trustful business relationships;
  • Understand business economics and show technical affinity on our products;
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and interact with different parts of the organization (see Connection into ZF Group) as well as outside of the organization (i.e. customers);
  • Capability to develop a deep understanding of the working principle of products/services, and being able to clearly communicate/present products and its USPs & Value Propositions;
  • Ability to deal with big datasets, and derive from it actionable tasks / meaningful metrics;
  • Drive for results.
