About the Team
Service Concepts & Development for Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket.
What you can look forward to as a Global Service Diagnostics and Calibration Engineer (m/f/d):
- Owns and leads the definition of diagnostics & calibration requirements including mandatory cables (product related) as subproject manager in the Product Development Process for Aftermarket to ensure serviceability for ZF products.
- Manage service diagnostics projects and requirements based on customer expectations (OEM and AM) in Product Development projects.
- Accountable to close existing gaps in diagnostics solutions for existing products.
- Defines specification for adapter and cables to connect ZF Aftermarket diagnostics tools with the respective product.
- Ensures execution of service diagnostics as well as adapter and cable development in respective department in line with defined requirements.
- Functional/technical assessment and acceptance of service diagnostics & calibration software as well as adapters and cables against defined specifications and testing of solution.
- Manage dedicated CV Aftermarket diagnostics budget and ensure defined financial targets and diagnostics availability.
- Prepares and presents project status.
Your Profile as Global Service Diagnostics and Calibration Engineer (m/f/d):
- Bachelor's degree in electronics, mechatronics, or similar;
- Min. 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar position; diagnostic experiences in the Automotive, Off-highway or machine sector;
- Automotive software design, development, testing & communication infrastructure;
- Cybersecurity, architecture and solutions;
- Entrepreneurial Competencies (AM customer orientation, power of decision, dealing with complexity, perseverance);
- Managing highly complex Aftermarket Diagnostics projects;
- Social & Interpersonal Competencies (Communication, Building relationships, Conflict Management);
- Fluent in written and spoken English, German language skills will be a plus.
