Financial Risk Analyst Supplier (m/f/d)

Main accountabilities, responsibilities, and deliverables:
•    Member of the Global Risk Team mainly responsible for managing supplier financial risk within a Commodity Cluster and business partner for Purchasing, reviewing part family strategies, discussing portfolio risk / financial health of new suppliers, and supporting supplier insolvencies
•    Sparring partner of local Purchasing team (Commodity / Program Purchasing) to evaluate & mitigate impact of distressed suppliers on ZF’s supply chain
•    Decision making & financial-risk evaluation in daily business (supplier approval, risk mitigation) with impact on sourcing strategy and profitability of ZF’s products
•    Identification, analysis, and evaluation of financial risk of suppliers incl. new supplier approval
•    Monitoring of potentially distressed suppliers, incl. deep analysis of the company’s situation
•    Development of concepts for risk mitigation with distressed suppliers supporting ZF Purchasing, lead of the cross-functional Risk Team and driving implementation of defined measures
•    Responsibility for risk cases and initiatives for risk avoidance in cooperation with ZF upper management and supplier’s leadership team
•    Development and implementation of risk-assessment processes and systems in FFRS
 
     Required skills and experience / main competencies:
•    Business Administration studies or similar with >3 years work experience in Finance (treasury, controlling, risk mgmt. or ideally credit risk management in a bank)
•    Ideally special expertise in restructuring and insolvency situations
•    Very good skills in English; German or other 2nd language preferred 
•    Readiness to take over responsibility, flexibility, self-employment, capacity for teamwork, strong communication & negotiation skills in an international environment
•    Experience in collaboration within virtual and intercultural teams
•    Basic experience in project management
