Customer Value Manager at cost engineering

About The Team:

The position is about cost engineering role within the ZF commercial vehicle division focusing on customer negotiation and project related target cost management. The team is international, and consists of members from different countries. You will cooperate with Sales (Div and Accounts), Project Purchasing/Com. Purch., Finances, Operations, R&D, and Project Teams.

What you can look forward as Customer Value Manager:

• Perform cost calculations on device level to support customer negotiations and competitor benchmarking
• Define cost disclosure strategy based on different Sales Accounts and support Key Account Management and Sales negotiations with customer
• Prepare, explaining, and defending cost contents of quotations to customers based on cost engineering methods.
• Implementation of target cost management on project level to reach target costs incl. coordination and moderation of design to cost workshops, measure management, idea generation in cross functional teams, etc.
• Contribute to continues improvement for used tools and methods

Your profile as Customer Value Manager:

• Strong financial / Cost Engineering /Engineering Background
• Deep knowledge of Operations / Production Processes
• Flexibility in analytics, concepts and organization / processes
• English (fluent) in order to act globally
• Strong ability of negotiation, communication and mediation between the interfaces
