Your Tasks:

• Development of sensors and sensor platforms for products of the ZF Group in close cooperation with business units and development partners;
• Developing sensor functions using modeling / simulation and system analysis in the development process;
• Selection of suitable technologies, materials and the construction and connection technology to implement the sensor technology;
• Requirements management in cooperation with internal and external development partners;
• Ensuring the project milestones.

Your Requirements:

• MSc in mechatronics, electronics or a comparable subject;
• Knowledge of technologies for sensors for measuring speed, position, pressure, etc. as well as basic knowledge of environmental recognition;
• Knowledge of common development tools such as Matlab / Simulink or similar;
• Knowledge of electronic technology;
• Knowledge of project management/coordination and quality approvals in the automotive industry not after studies;
• Analytical skills, strong ability to focus on targets, good team player;
• Proficient in spoken and written English (minimum B2).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of electronic circuit design in i.e., Ecad/or similar software;
• Knowledge of project management/coordination and quality approvals in the automotive industry;
• Good knowledge of simulation methods and tools like Maxwell and/or COMSOL;
• German language;
• Knowledge of project management/coordination and quality approvals in the automotive industry not after studies;
• Manufacturing process technology / product design experience.
