Your Tasks:

• Steering of the simultaneous engineering (SE) team of a mechatronic sub-component in complex mechatronic projects of the different product groups;
• Coordination between different stakeholders internally (Engineering, Purchasing, Supplier Development, Production, Sales, and Project Management) and externally (supplier and OEM);
• Developing innovative technical solution under given resources within the application projects or new developments;
• Engineering support of the project teams in the different product groups;
• Evaluation and interpretation of testing reports from internal or external sources with relevance to the supervised components;
• Creating/updating product related documentation on demand (CAD models, drawings, Bill of materials);
• Risk evaluation of complex series production deviations and engineering change requests, root cause analyses for customer complaints.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, electrical/mechanical engineering (mechatronics) or similar;
• Experience in the automotive or supplier industry preferred;
• Technical knowledge of mechatronic systems and components with respect to ISO26262 preferred;
• Project management skills and knowledge in ASPICE preferred;
• Task management skill, able to manage and prioritize multiple jobs in parallel;
• Fluent in English, German desirable but not necessary;
• Able to work on complex engineering problems independently and in a collaborative setting with the supplier and if needed the OEM;
• Willing to work in international teams and within intercultural environment;
• Good teamwork and communication skills;
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally if needed.
