What you can look forward to, as Brake Calculation Engineer:

o    Provide expertise in brake calculations for trucks and trailers equipped with ZF braking systems. The calculation reports are used for brake approval certificates and application engineering
o    Create and maintain brake calculation programs for standard truck + trailer configurations as well as for special vehicles, e.g. multi axle configurations

o    Maintain and extend brake system components data bases UpToDate

o    Handle and plan expert level brake calculation requests from different worldwide customers

o    Train and develop team of brake calculation experts in ZF’s local sales teams

o    Proactive support and train brake calculation program users. Create and maintain documentation and standardized report sheets

o    Support the adaption of new legislation rules, support the adaption of new components (foundation brakes, actuators)

o    Maintain and collaborate with external IT partner to keep the calculation tool up to date and user-friendly

 

Your profile as Brake Calculation Engineer:  


o    Education and professional experience required: 

Technical education (Engineer) 
Fluent in English, Polish at communicative level. German will be an advantage
Excellent understanding of a vehicle’s brake system and the vehicle dynamics
Experience with management of external IT projects is an advantage

 

o    Skills and knowledge: 

Very good technical knowledge about ZF products, especially regarding the details of braking system operations, brake components interaction and software functionality, or the willingness to learn it on an expert level 
Good understanding about legal regulations regarding truck/trailer systems, or the willingness to learn it on an expert level
Excellent math and calculation knowledge 
Good conceptual thinking
