Strategic Planning Professional

About the Team

The Strategic Planning Professional works autonomously in close alignment with the Head of Strategy & Market Intelligence and collaboration with all stakeholders of the CVS Strategy Community in Product Lines, Regions and Domains. 
The Strategy & Market Intelligence team consists of a multicultural group of colleagues located in various cities in Germany and Belgium, North/South America, China, and India.
(there are no solid/dotted line team members to the Strategic Planning Professional).

  
What you can look forward to as a Strategic Planning Professional (m/f/d):

• Support DIV strategy process and content preparation in cooperation w/DIV Finance, PLs, Domain Fct., e.g. R&D;
• Guarantee strategic fit to DIV ambition as well as to Corporate guardrails and ensure divisional link to Corporate Strategy; 
• Review, align and track strategic initiatives with PL & Regional Strategy Leads;
• Support update of DIV Product Group structure as basis for Strategic Portfolio Mgmt. (“IWIM”) and internal portfolio steering with DIV Finance;
• Provide “IWIM” master table on DIV-/PL level and ensure availability/accuracy of required strategic KPIs incl. market data per product group with PLs; 
• Support “adhoc” strategic projects addressed to DIVs by Corporate;  
• Drive DIV (x-PL/x-Regional) standardization of templates, tools, analysis methods; 
• Provide trainings in CVS strategy process for new colleagues.

Your Profile as a Strategic Planning Professional (m/f/d):

• Higher education;
• Min 5 years of operative business experience;
• Relevant commercial & technical background/expertise in CV (cost orientation, technical and analytical skills, innovative);
• Ability to work in a matrix organization - act as driver and motivator; 
• Strategy management and business mindset: driving analyses (good tool skills, e.g. Excel, Power BI, Efficient Elements, PowerPoint) deriving strategic implications, making recommendations for decision-making, fostering decision-taking; 
• Leadership, communication, and advanced social skills, collaborative and decision-oriented.
