Job Description
Position Summary: Provide the site support for production related IT systems as well as application support
Position Responsibilities:
- Support JIS process applications including Production Control System (PCS, QDB, QDC, PVS etc.) and SAP.
- Configure simple PCS changes / customizing and maintain PCS.
- Provide expertise for SAP JIS processes (component group determination, call validation, build code generation, ldoc handling, call control, material posting, delivery, shipment).
- Liaise with global support teams for escalation of issues and coordinate activities between them and the local plant teams.
- Provide training along the whole JIS process to end users in the plant e.g. PCS and SAP monitoring.
- Collect new customer or plant requirements and coordinate with the Divisional Process Expert (DPE) as well as the IT Demand Manager.
- Liaise with the DPE and Service Center Applications (SCA) regarding JIS processes and be the local coordinator for changes.
- Perform fault-finding and trouble shooting in all aspects of applications and escalate issues if required (including detailed error description and results of first error analysis).
- Be local backup for the JST and be part of the global LPE-JIS team.
- Manage or participate in projects for IT process improvement.
- Compliance with all Internal and External Production Quality Management Systems and Group Directives.
- Maintain IT-documentation of diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in technical field
- 2+ years of directly related experience
- Profound knowledge of SAP and databases
- Proven team building ability
- Good communications and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English
Preferred Skills and experience:
- SAP or other ERP knowledge
