Role Objective:

The IT HR Business Analyst should have a good working knowledge of HR processes, data definitions and regulatory requirements related to HR and payroll functions. They will work closely with the end-users of the supported applications along with many HR Functional leader groups (e.g., benefits, compensation, pension administration, etc.) and COEs. The team is responsible for supporting the Americas HR/Payroll applications like Peoplesoft, UKG/Kronos, MHRIS, Success Factors and others. This position will service the US, Canada, and Mexico (interim basis in MEX). The position is in Washington, Michigan.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the Americas HR Systems team with digital HR transformation and standardization projects in alignment with global HR strategy and regional requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and support coordination between HR Centers of Expertise, HR Business Partners, HR Operations/Shared Services, local HR, IT, and other key partners to deliver efficient digitalized HR services.
  • Ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement of key HR systems and related technical integrations.
  • Leverage HR reporting and analytics tools to deliver insights and data to the business as well as to ensure HR data accuracy within and across key systems.
  • Support HR and end-users with training, change management, and resolving technical issues concerning HR systems and digitalized HR processes.
  • May be responsible for PeopleSoft User Access/Security Administration.
  • Support other tasks as assigned by HR leadership.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields.

 

Experience and Skill Set:

  • Minimum 5 years of HR systems support experience with Peoplesoft and/or UKG/Kronos.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft User Access/Security Administration is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities, preferably including experience with reporting and data analysis tools (e.g., PeopleSoft Query, MS Excel, etc.).
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, ideally including  experience working with diverse global and cross-functional teams.
  • Good working knowledge of core HR processes.
  • Strong in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
  • Solid leadership, analytical, project management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize.
  • Proactive approach and flexibility.
  • Proactive, organized, and accuracy with attention to detail. 
  • Winning mentality and persuasion skills as well as a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Energetic, responsive team player who is keen to take initiatives.
  • Cost and time conscious (deadlines).
