This is a role which requires commercial savvy and business acumen. The Account Manager is responsible for both the support of existing business, as well as the development of future business potential. There is tough competition in our business sectors and rigorous financial pressures, so the position requires financial aptitude and a comfort level working with highly technical products. The Account Manager for Restraints in NA owns the sales relationship with Stellantis NA and reports to the NA Senior Sales Manager. This role will support Division R – Passive Safety.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with customer base for new & exciting business opportunities
- Meeting deadlines, ability to Work Under Pressure
- Contributes to global team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Be responsible for customer satisfaction and relationship, whether it relates to issues of cost, delivery or quality; lead negotiations on contracts & pricing
- Identify Stellantis trends and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status; proactively position ZF to support those needs.
- Problem Solving attitude, positive thinker who can quickly pinpoint problems.

- Ability to work with a wide variety of individuals within and across the organization at all levels; internally and externally.

- Ability to juggle competing demands and adapt to different situations. Must be able to perform under stressful conditions and meet immediate or short-lead time deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Windows software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in business or related field required.
- 6-8 years equivalent sales & finance experience preferred
- Prior experience working in a matrix organization.
