About the role:

The Workshop Footprint Development Lead plays a crucial role within ZF's aftermarket division Front-end Sales Excellence team, focusing on developing and executing a structured workshop network strategy across global markets. This role is instrumental in driving pull strategies for the spare parts business, ensuring proximity of the network, and aligning the strategic directions of the Commercial Vehicles and Passenger Cars business lines. Additionally, this position will enable the direct business model for Digital Solutions while enhancing workshop engagement, service excellence, and sales performance. By leveraging commercial excellence tools, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration, the Workshop Footprint Development Lead will shape the workshop sales and service organization, define network expansion strategies, optimize processes, and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement and ensure the achievement of key sales and service excellence KPIs.

 

Your Accountabilities and responsibilities as Workshop Footprint Development Lead:

  • Global Workshop Network Strategy: Lead the global Workshop Network Development initiatives to drive customer engagement, service excellence, and aftermarket business growth.
  • Network Optimization & Proximity: Map the workshop landscape, analyze market benchmarks, and define key focus areas to optimize network reach and coverage.
  • Sales & Service Organization Structure: Develop and implement a clearly defined workshop sales and service organization, integrating sales and technical teams with streamlined processes.
  • Performance Monitoring & KPI Framework: Establish a comprehensive KPI framework with regional breakdowns and performance dashboards, enabling real-time insights, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
  • Support the development and execution of the global workshop network strategy to achieve Division B’s business objectives.
  • Lead workshop segmentation and benchmarking efforts, mapping key players and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Enable pull strategies to drive workshop demand for ZF AM spare parts and services.
  • Shape and structure the workshop sales and service organization, defining roles, responsibilities, and collaboration models.

Your profile as Workshop Footprint Development Lead:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience in aftermarket sales, workshop network development, and customer engagement strategies within the automotive or related industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales and service strategies for workshops, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Experience in digital solutions deployment, CRM integration, and customer engagement tools.
