Introduction:

ZF Aftermarket’s Sales Enablement team drives the execution of innovative tools & technology, enabling programs, coaching and kick-ass formats to increase the productivity and effectiveness of our field sales representatives across the globe. Purpose:

The Training and Documentation Specialist is integral to the Sales Enablement team of ZF’s aftermarket division, tasked with designing, implementing, and enhancing learning and development programs across sales teams to drive operational excellence. This role conducts thorough assessments of training needs and gaps, tailors training solutions to support the execution of key Commercial Management initiatives and establishes and maintains documentation standards to ensure organizational knowledge is effectively captured and disseminated.

 

Accountabilities:

1. Training Program Development: Develop comprehensive training programs for sales teams and business partners, aligning them with organizational objectives and strategies.

2. Needs Assessment and Analysis: Collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to identify training needs and gaps, ensuring training programs address critical areas for improvement.

3. Knowledge Management: Maintain expert knowledge of training programs and systems used, staying updated on best practices and emerging trends in training methodologies.

4. Training Coordination: Schedule and coordinate training sessions to ensure timely and effective delivery, utilizing innovative training philosophies to enhance knowledge retention.

5. Learning Materials Development: Create or select teaching aids, such as handbooks, multimedia visuals, and computer tutorials, to support training delivery and maximize learning outcomes.

6. Performance Standards Compliance: Ensure all levels of the organization are trained to meet or exceed established performance standards, including management development programs.

7. Stakeholder Collaboration: Consult with management to identify work situations requiring training and stay informed about changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.

8. Documentation Standards Management: Design, implement, and evaluate documentation standards to maintain consistency and accuracy across the team’s documentation.

9. Document Updating and Maintenance: Ensure all documentation is up to date via applicable tools/platforms and collaboration with business partners, maintaining records of training activities for reference and evaluation.

10. Relationship Building: Foster and maintain effective relationships with relevant business partners to ensure alignment of training programs and documentation with organizational goals and priorities.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Develop training programs for sales and customer service teams and business partners based on identified needs and gaps, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

2. Collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to assess training needs and build effective training programs that deliver maximum results.

3. Stay updated on training programs and systems used, maintaining expert knowledge to inform training design and delivery.

4. Schedule and coordinate training classes to ensure timely completion and optimal knowledge retention among participants.

5. Utilize innovative training philosophies to enhance learning experiences and outcomes for sales teams.

6. Develop and select teaching aids to support training delivery, ensuring materials are engaging and effective.

7. Ensure all organizational levels meet or exceed established performance standards through comprehensive training initiatives.

8. Consult with management to identify training needs and stay informed about changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.

9. Design, implement, and evaluate documentation standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across the team’s documentation.

10. Ensure all documentation is up to date through collaboration with business partners and utilization of relevant tools/platforms.

11. Maintain detailed records of training activities for reference and evaluation purposes.

12. Build and maintain effective relationships with business partners to ensure training programs and documentation meet organizational needs and priorities.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience in training program development, delivery, and documentation management, preferably in the automotive or related industry.

- Proficiency in technology and systems, with the ability to quickly learn and train others on new tools and process[A1] es.

- Expertise in instructional methods and training techniques, including curriculum design principles and blended learning strategies.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online training tools such as Articulate 360.

- Experience with virtual training technologies such as webinars and podcasts.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.

- Knowledge of learning principles and classroom management techniques.

- Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

- Flexibility and adaptability to maintain professionalism amidst changing work tasks or environments.
