Job Title: Sales Process Expert

Introduction:

ZF Aftermarket’s Sales Enablement team drives the execution of innovative tools & technology, enabling programs, coaching and kick-ass formats to increase the productivity and effectiveness of our field sales representatives across the globe. We are the team that is barraged with challenges day-in-day-out, coming from various parts of our global organization and we love it! Always looking to guide our sales colleagues in the right directions, providing them with excellent service and using their input to only make things better.

Purpose:

The Sales Process Expert plays a crucial role within the Sales Enablement team of ZF's aftermarket division, driving and embedding process improvements at the core of our sales organization. This role focuses on resolving complex issues, proactively identifying process gaps, and collaborating with internal stakeholders globally to implement scalable solutions that enhance the field sales experience.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

1. Sales Organization Delivery:

  • Resolve complex issues identified via regional escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Proactively identify process gaps impacting sales teams and implement scalable solutions using technology and processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams as needed to resolve sales issues and provide support to sales teams.

2. Process Excellence:

  • Drive excellence in the field sales experience by contributing to improvements in standardized processes related to escalation process management.
  • Identify and initiate process improvement initiatives to streamline sales operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Assist in the definition and design of tools, standard operating procedures, and processes to support sales activities.
  • Surface and share best practices across regions to promote continuous improvement.

3. Coaching and Knowledge Building:

  • Aggregate information about tools, services, and knowledge from centralized teams and enterprise-wide services to support sales activities.
  • Build and refresh training materials on sales activities in partnership with the training and documentation team to ensure sales teams are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Connection into ZF Group:

Collaborate with various departments including Commercial Excellence, Customer & Strategy, Quality, Logistics, Business Lines, and Regions to ensure alignment and integration of sales processes with overall business objectives.

Required Skills and Experience / Main Competencies:

  • Analytical Skills: Highly analytical with experience in project coordination to identify obstacles and make strategic decisions.
  • Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills to anticipate obstacles and develop effective solutions.
  • Mentorship: Excellent mentorship skills to coach and guide sales teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and take initiative in driving process improvements and solving complex issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in sales process improvement, project management, or related roles within the automotive or similar industry.
  • Proven track record of driving process excellence and implementing scalable solutions to enhance sales operations.
  • Proficiency in project design and management tools, like Zimbio and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with sales enablement technologies and CRM tools like Salesforce.com is a plus.
