Job Title: Sales Operations Expert

Introduction:

ZF Aftermarket’s Sales Enablement team drives the execution of innovative tools & technology, enabling programs, coaching and kick-ass formats to increase the productivity and effectiveness of our field sales representatives across the globe. Purpose:

The Sales Operations Expert is a pivotal role within the Sales Enablement team of ZF's aftermarket division, dedicated to empowering the sales organization with the necessary information, content, and tools to enhance sales effectiveness. This role drives the regional sales enablement vision, strategy, and implementation, collaborates with internal stakeholders to analyze customer and market insights, and leads initiatives to drive growth and efficiency across all channels to market.

 

Accountabilities:

  1. Leadership Engagement & Strategy Contribution:
  • Provide regional leadership and strategic direction for the sales enablement vision, strategy, and business implementation.
  • Collaborate with peers to establish short- and long-term action plans aimed at creating a more efficient and effective sales organization.
  • Challenge and review relevant processes to introduce innovative tools and creative resources.
  • Lead customer and market analysis initiatives, bringing insights to the team to make strategic decisions and drive growth.
  • Engage with stakeholders within the division and across the organization to lead change and foster collaborative partnerships aligned with sales enablement strategies.
  1. Deployment & Coordination:
  • Implement the sales enablement strategy and oversee its execution to drive sales effectiveness.
  • Utilize customer insights and innovative ideas to develop a world-class sales enablement practice in support of channel growth.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, technical, product, and learning and development to ensure effective and efficient creation and deployment.
  • Develop plans and deliver results while driving the regional sales enablement community and initiating performance and corrective actions as needed.

Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with regional sales enablement teams to ensure alignment with overall sales enablement strategies and objectives.
  2. Deliver customer and market insights to drive customer focus and inform decision-making within sales teams.
  3. Identify, develop, and deliver commercial insights that resonate with customers and relate back to product portfolios.
  4. Manage a scalable sales enablement community covering all regions to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination.
  5. Orchestrate sales activities across all sales teams to increase efficiency and effectiveness of commercial activities.

Connection into ZF Group:

Collaborate with various departments including Commercial Excellence, Corporate Commercial Management, Human Resources, Business Lines, and Regions to ensure alignment and support for sales enablement initiatives.

 

Required Skills and Experience / Main Competencies:

  • Transformation evangelist with a track record of driving change and innovation within sales organizations.
  • Deep understanding of the sales process, customer journey, and evolving buyer behaviors.
  • Expertise in sales methodology and technology, with the ability to effectively communicate and train sales reps and managers.
  • Strong coordination, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Excellent prioritization, relationship-building, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in community building and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, sales enablement, or related roles within the automotive (aftermarket) or similar industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales effectiveness and efficiency through the implementation of sales enablement strategies and initiatives.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant sales enablement technologies and tools.
  • Salesforce.com experience and/or certification is a plus.
