Within the ZF Aftermarket Division, the Business Line Digital Solutions enables aftermarket customers across application segments (cargo transport, people transport, industrial applications) to radically increase the efficiency, sustainability, and safety of their operations while meeting the regulatory and visibility standards of their markets.
As Commercial Insights Analyst you will provide clear, actionable insights that improve revenue performance by analyzing sales, customer‑lifecycle, and product‑usage data. The role ensures commercial teams operate with reliable metrics, timely reporting, and a consistent fact base, enabling better decisions that strengthen retention, expansion, pipeline quality, and forecast accuracy across the business.
Job Description
What you can look forward to as Commercial Insights Analyst:
-Define KPI taxonomy, data dictionary, and calculation standards
-Ensure data quality, lineage, and consistency across systems (CRM/CPQ/ERP).
-Analyze conversion by stage, win/loss, cohort retention, churn drivers, expansion propensity and price realization signals.
-Partner with revenue operations to assess coverage, stage aging, risk flags, scenario modeling, and forecast accuracy.
-Produce clear narratives and recommendations for growth initiatives (retention, upsell, cross sell, pipeline acceleration) based on data insights.
-Quantify business impact and ROI of commercial initiatives.
-Build and maintain executive and field dashboards (SalesForce, Power BI)
-Publish curated datasets
-Drive adoption with training and open office hours.
-Work with Sales field teams, marketing, customer and commercial excellence team , finance, and product to align insights with execution.
Your profile as Commercial Insights Analyst:
-3–5 years in commercial analytics, BI, revenue analytics, or data analysis in a B2B environment
-Hands on experience with Salesforce (CRM data model) and BI tooling (Power BI, advanced Excel) practical SQL is a plus
-Proven track record building dashboards, curated datasets, and KPI definitions for commercial teams
-Experience analyzing funnel performance, retention/churn, MRR, win/loss, and pipeline health
-Exposure to SaaS or telematics/subscription models and related unit economics experience
-Familiarity with simulation and A/B testing/experimentation and impact measurement
-Strong data storytelling and stakeholder management, ability to convert analysis into clear business recommendations
-Understanding of data governance, privacy, and basic data modeling concepts
