The Business Performance Controlling team develops and maintains a suite of powerful analytical data products which leaders across ZF Aftermarket use.  We seek a talented and motivated professional, with strong collaboration, consultative and development competencies to join us on our journey.  As a member of the team, you will be interacting with leaders across the organization, understanding their unique requirements, and developing fit-for-purpose Business Intelligence solutions in Power BI / MS Synapse.

What you can look forward to as Business Performance Analyst (m/f/d):

• Plan the strategic design, delivery and maintenance of reporting and analytics to implement meaningful quantitative or qualitative insights;

• Create and deliver valuable dashboards and data feeds to optimize visibility in business performance controlling;

• Develop consistent approaches and methodologies for data analysis, automate repeatable tasks and drive process efficiencies;

• Lead change initiatives to transform existing data management, revamp and automate reports to enable up-to-date analytics for business performance controlling;

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to curate and implement initiatives;

• Oversee the deployment of data to the enterprise data warehouse and continuously enhance it to keep up with changing business needs;

• Explore and harness new data sources in the data warehouse for effective usage and better business performance management;

• Conduct extensive analyses using sophisticated techniques and tools (e.g., R, SQL, Power BI, Python..);

• Develop technical aptitude to supercharge the investigative capabilities of the team.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience;

• 2 years of experience in analytics, consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree;

• Ability to develop turn-key solutions within Microsoft Power BI, Databricks;

• Experienced working with SQL;

• Fluent English, Polish and German are welcomed.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Python or AI-driven data analytics;

• Ability to take initiative, manage ambiguity, and self-direct work in an unstructured environment;

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft and deliver a message with credibility to influence executive leadership;

• Excellent problem solving and analysis skills.
