This position is responsible for supporting business / corporate projects and initiatives in the areas of Divisional Strategy and planning. The position could sit in Vernon Hills, IL or Farmington Hills, MI.
Job Description
- Assists in the development of strategic objectives, business initiatives, and short and long-range goals of the organization.
- Provide day-to-day support for business strategy projects through meeting coordination, project tracking and presentation preparation.
- Collects data from internal and external sources, assembles reports and prepares graphs, charts, tables, maps, surveys and other related materials and contacts key personnel to obtain additional information.
- Analyze potential opportunities using available data elements to provide actionable insights to leadership team.
- Draft requested reports to support across business lines.
- Act as implementation agent in company to support the actions needed to accomplish strategic directional goals.
- Responsible for the documentation of business updates, key task monitors and applicable business processes.
- Perform related tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Customer focused approach to all activities
- Microsoft Office proficient with required expertise in PowerPoint.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Knowledge of the automotive or commercial vehicle aftermarket market preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, process, and analysis skills required.
- Professional assertiveness orientated towards the organizational goals.
- Able to work cross-functionally required.
- Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines.
- Independent worker who is a strong team player and will succeed among a fast-working group and with high dedication.
- Analytical and problem-solving individual who is an independent thinker.
