In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipping activities to ensure the timely and accurate movement of materials and products.  You will manage inbound and outbound freight activities and collaborate closely with logistics partners, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient material flow and on-time delivery. Additional responsibilities include:

• Prepare international/national ship packet documentation.
• Schedule truck pick-ups and inbound deliveries.
• Prepare documentation to comply customs standards.
• Create product certificates and trade agreements.
• Handle freight quotes, Bill of Lading (BOL)/Letter of Authorization (LOA) request and customs forms.
• Work with non-stock orders and return orders.
• Perform related tasks and special projects as needed.

Your profile as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills required.
• SAP and MS office suite proficiency. 
• Previous distribution center and customs experience preferred.

Physical demands:  While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally required to stand, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools; or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; verbally communicate and hear safety indicators; breathe through a respirator. The associate must occasionally lift and /or move up to 40 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

The expected base compensation for this role is $21.00 to $26.00 hourly.  Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
