We are looking for a new colleague in our Material & Reliability team.

The materials & reliability team is very international and composed of specialists when it comes to competencies like strength assessment, materials and tribology. With this unique position focusing on reliability we like to complete the team. In scope of the position are the build of suitable wholistic approaches encompassing internal and external processes and inputs enabling a balance between effort and gain.
 

 

What you can look forward to as Reliability Expert (m/f/d):

  • Situated in Material & Reliability team, responsible to develop a framework which enables wholistic approach to reliability predictions in design phase, encompassing deterministic and stochastic failure modes linked to data driven experience
  • Technical lead in projects internally as well as with external research partners to develop necessary methods
  • Takes ownership to leverage cost-out and reliability potentials
  • Expert support to Quality and LCM Department
  • Participate on external forums and roadmap development

 

Your Profile as Reliability Expert (m/f/d):

  • Master’s Degree or PhD in Material Physics, Reliability Engineering, Mathematics or comparable
  • Expert knowledge on statistical and reliability models, probabilistic model knowledge is a plus
  • Preferrable good knowledge on material damage models
  • Experienced in Python, experience in Minitab is a benefit
  • Open-minded and eager to work within teams from around the globe, communicative and accountable
