About the Team
Reporting to the VP of HR for ZF's aftermarket division, the HR Manager is responsible for managing the general HR functions and driving positive employee relations within the facility, complying with local/national regulations, ensuring adherence to corporate HR guidelines/policy, and ultimately meeting the objectives of the business unit. This position can be based out of Vernon Hills, IL or Auburn Hills, MI.
What you can look forward to as the HR Manager in Vernon Hills:
- Act as a strategic counterpart to the business, aligning between the regional HR strategy, in line with divisional HR strategy
- Determines and orchestrates necessary measures and programs to transform the current population into the future organization
- Steers all HR related topics for strategic footprint decisions for the region.
- Leads all personnel related initiatives for the region on global level
- Define people strategy, roadmap and Annual Operating plan based on regional business strategy in terms of capabilities, locations and people cost
Your Profile as the HR Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 10+ years progressive HR experience
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience and minimum 3 years manufacturing HR experience
- Demonstrated success in development and application of HR policy, recruitment & staffing, and talent development.
- Strong project management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
- Function specific knowledge, deep business understanding, and multiple years of experience in HR
- Strong strategic focus and experience in strategy development and implementation
- Strong leadership in global matrix organization and intercultural experience
The expected base compensation for this role is $112,700.00 - 140,900.00 annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
