Account Manager

We are looking for a new colleague in the Sales and Service Department at our location in Miramar, FL. 
    

Your Responsibilities:


•    In accordance with ZF Group Directive No. 06/02 Authority to Sign: hold basic limited commercial signatory authority Level III.
•    Ensure compliance, application and dissemination of group directives and business initiatives with regional and functional business operating requirements. 
•    Develop, maintain and implement functional Local Operating Procedures (LOP’s).
•    Develop product line business plan strategies to establish a competitive advantage in the North American Industrial Drive market.
•    Support and review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
•    Channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution.
•    Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
•    Develop and administer the product line budgets. Analyze and control expenditures.
•    Act as primary government projects liaison, working closely with all internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction for product applications and installations.
•    Meet with key clients, assisting Key Account Managers with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
•    Contribute to trade shows and industry related events.
•    Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
•    Act as factory liaison by ensuring continued communications with regional personnel.
•    Provide ongoing input to Global Product Line Management on market trends regarding technology and market.
•    Prepare periodic reports showing sales volume, potential sales, lost sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
•    Participate actively in national and global management teams to develop business strategies. Represent the product line in global strategy meetings.
•    Directly supervise sales and professional support staff and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, compliance and anti-trust regulations, and applicable laws. 
•    Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems. 
•    Work closely with internal and external auditors to prepare and coordinate any documentation requirements.
•    Promote and engage in the principles of employee involvement, team building and continuous improvement. 
•    Foster a positive attitude towards company goals and actively motivate, coach and support subordinates while encouraging professional development efforts to ensure growth and improvement.

 

Your Qualifications:


•    BS degree in Engineering with six years’ experience and training; or ten years equivalent technical and business training and experience. 
•    Extensive Industrial Drive product and industry knowledge. 
•    Proven leadership, budgeting, organizational, and marketing experience required. 
•    Technical/mechanical aptitude required. 
•    Negotiation skills, presentation, and communication skills, interviewing and public relations skills required. 
•    Must be a highly self-motivated and innovative self-starter who can work well under pressure and under low instructions 
•    Must have the ability to teamwork and cooperation among the work group and intra-departmentally.
•    Must be versatile with Windows based software with intermediate level experience in PowerPoint and Excel with strong analytical skills.
•    40 % domestic (North America) travel required, additional 2-3 international flights / year.
