Canadian Account Manager

Position Summary: Responsible for support and growth of the existing business and development of new business for the wind service accounts in the assigned region. Calls on key accounts as well as individual wind farm locations. Understand the needs of the market and communicate back to manager

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to provide support to OEM, Utilities and End Users as required to achieve sales plan.
  • Penetrate and establish new customer accounts through cold calling, market analysis and networking.
  • Maintain robust customer contact internally and externally to ensure high customer satisfaction and problem solve as necessary. Monitors status of accounts receivable for assigned region and works with accounting and customers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide input to sales forecast and budget.
  • Provide market intelligence to Sales Manager for pricing, market share, and aftermarket trends to maintain competitive market position.
  • Responsible for coordinating all new account set up information into the ERP system and customer order processing through CSR team utilizing ERP system.
  • Represent ZF at trade shows and related industry functions as needed.
  • Up to 75% travel required.
  • Represent the needs of the customer in accordance with ZF company policies and procedures in all ZF Business/Operating Systems and be the voice of the customer.
  • Call on physical Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) park operations which may require periodic climbing and inspection of the WTG.
  • Coordinate ZF wind service partners when required.
  • Performs related tasks as assigned.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • BS or BA Degree required. Business, marketing, engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years sales experience
  • Proven organizational abilities to successfully interact, develop, maintain, and follow through on responsibilities.
  • Problem resolution, process improvement and negotiation skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency. 
  • Ability to travel up to 70%
  • Must be able to travel to Canada
  •  

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years Wind Turbine service experience
  • Manufacturing and/or industrial assemble processing

 

Reporting to Position: Sr. Manager Wind.  Has no direct reports.

Work Environment:  While performing the duties of the job, the associate is in an office environment and is exposed to a warehouse/manufacturing floor atmosphere.
