Validation Manager (Active Safety Systems Division)

Your main activities:

- Coordinate test activities in the area of Software/ System/ Mechanical Testing of the global braking engineering product

- Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling of all aspects of the product/system, including mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and assure safe release of product under responsibility

- Cross functional lead including software and electronics hardware

- Oversees product testing, data analysis, and preparation of test reports

- Overall responsible to consolidate test strategies, plan and support their implementation

- Coordination of the various test departments in the release processes

- Evaluation of risk and manage problem solving

- Defined customer interface with respect to all testing activities

 

Your profile:

- Bachelor degree (related to software engineering, embedded software, informatics, electrical or electronic engineering)

- Previous experience in Test Management/ Project Management/ Project coordination roles (at least 2 years)

- Knowledge regarding product development cycles (embedded software areas)

- Self motivated and motivating others, people oriented, taking ownership

- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

- Knowledge of automotive standards and automotive experience (ISO26262, A-Spice)

- ISTQB qualification (Certified Tester / Test Manager) is a plus

- Experience in dealing with customers, flexibility, teamwork and presentation skills

- Good communications skills and good English skills (German is a plus)
