R&D System Engineering - System Requirements Engineer

ZF is looking for a System Architect for R&D department, who will collaborate on development process of electric axles for automotive industry. From concept development to serial process. We are looking for an expert of the system component (Hardware, Software, Mechanics etc.).

Tasks: 

The System architect is responsible for defining the system architecture for the specific system functionalities and properties of electric drive system based on customer needs,

Creating and analyzing the system requirements (internal and external) on a system architecture level to properly describe the whole functionality of the system,

Modeling and maintaining of the system architecture models in CAMEO based on the defined system architecture concept,

Defining and specifying the elements of the system, their interfaces, and the behavior,

Carrying out review process of requirements and models with involved parties (Component’s design, Validation) to verify the system functionality.

Profile: 

Completed master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable degree,

Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English, German is a plus,

Knowledge of tools for system engineering and modeling language (DOORs, UML, SysML, Enterprise Architect, CAMEO) is an advantage,

Experience in a similar position (System Engineer/Architect) and with system engineering standards is welcome,

Knowledge of inverter and electric motor design in automotive applications, 

Good moderation and communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team.
