Position Responsibilities:

• Implementation of the product group / commodity strategy as well as further development of the supplier base and technology in the area of responsibility for Hub Schweinfurt
• Interaction with departments at the Schweinfurt site to ensure continuous service and good support of ongoing projects, as well as to plan new activities for cost or process optimization
• Analyze, evaluate, and optimize the supplier portfolio
• Development of market and decision-making analyses
• Independent execution of tenders for services or goods in indirect material f.e. engineering services etc.
• Identify and evaluate requirements and needs, create orders and contracts, as well as invoice verification         
• Independent execution of price and contract negotiations
• Recognition, identification, and implementation of optimization potentials – cost or process related
• Support of the locations assigned to the HUB Schweinfurt (e.g. Nürnberg, Auerbach) within the field of responsibility
• Cross-functional and cross-location cooperation in the international team
• Cross-functional and cross-location cooperation in the international team

Skills / Requirements:

• Completed studies in business administration, economics or technical studies or comparable qualification with corresponding professional experience desirable
• Good knowledge of purchasing methodology, combined with negotiation skills and rhetorical skills, as well as confident appearance
• Very good English skills in spoken and written, German as a advantage
• Strong ability to communicate and work in a team
•  Independent way of working

Monthly wage from 1 600 € (including basic wage component *, bonuses and premiums) The possibility of offering a higher salary depends on the experience and profile of the candidate.
