NPM plant Buyer

Your tasks:

• Support of the production and R&D departments at the Koblenz location as well as Neuwied (Germany), through appropriate purchasing service for indirect material

• Interaction with departments at the Koblenz  site to ensure continuous service and good support of ongoing projects, as well as to plan new activities for cost or process optimization

• Independent execution of tenders for services or goods in  indirect material f.e. tools, chemicals etc.

• Implementation of product group / commodities strategies

• Development of market and decision-making analyses

• Identify and evaluate requirements and needs, create orders and contracts, as well as invoice verification          

• Independent execution of price and contract negotiations

• Analyze, evaluate, and optimize the supplier portfolio

• Recognition, identification, and implementation of optimization potentials – cost or process related

• Support of the locations assigned to the HUB North West (e.g. Koblenz, Neuwied) within the field of responsibility

Skills:

• Completed studies in business administration, economics or technical studies or comparable qualification with corresponding professional experience desirable

• Good knowledge of purchasing methodology, combined with negotiation skills and rhetorical skills, as well as confident appearance

• Very good German skills in spoken and written, good knowledge of English

• Strong ability to communicate and work in a team

• Independent way of working and willingness to travel

• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
