We are looking to hire a Continuous Improovement Leader to join our team at Toluca.

What you can look forward as Continuous Improovement Leader:

Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible for planning, training and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, techniques, & methodologies for the most efficient utilization of labor, material, & capital of the site.
• Directly support assembly & manufacturing operations to increase safety & efficiency & target higher profitability through the development & application of a Lean Roadmap /Ensure through harmonized training methods that consistent standards for assembly & manufacturing processes are practiced.
• Coordinate, schedule, & execute Lean methodologies & Kaizen activities within the site to identify & reduce waste, utilizing such methods as 5S, TPM, Line Balancing, Standardized Work, SMED, & other lean manufacturing principles
• Train all production related employees & management in the basic principles of the companies Production Systems; ensure that production related management participate in at least one workshop annually.
• Develop Value Streams & perform Lean assessments for business unit including domain functions; document & analyze current processes including deduction of optimization approaches.
• Create site-related goals to assist in achieving business targets; analyze gaps & formulate opportunities to improve processes /Supervise staff. Develop a pool of subject matter experts through training & application of workshops/ Understand and comply with TS 16949, ISO 14000 & ISO 45001 requirements.
• Responsible of Saving´s KPI´´s, follow up and execution
• Responsible Six sigma and training proyects

Your profile as Continuous Improovement Leader:

• Engineering degree
• Green belt necesary (Certificate of Training is acceptable)
• Nice to have black belt
• 3 years experience minimum in the same position (coordination level) in automotive business
• Lean methodology fully application and knowledge of VSL, TPM, 5S, kaizen
• Experience leading audits
• Proficient conversational English
• Power BI nice to have
• Nice to have SAP
