We are looking to hire a Manager Project Management to join our team at Toluca plant.
Responsibilities:
- Lead interdisciplinary project teams and work packages
- Lead and manage the plant Project Portfolio for the Toluca Plant interfacing with global teams.
- Manage, prioritize, and communicate the local/regional project portfolios to all stakeholders
- Manage and coordinate the local project resources including tracking and achieving of targets
- Developing the location in Project Management methods and skills
- Establish and maintain the project reporting standards and content
- Responsible for the interface between internal and external customers, suppliers, partners, and adjacent departments
- Manage the project scope, time, budget, contracting and quality according to relevant standards (DG 05/11, DG 17/01)
- Elaborate a project plan in alignment with the strategic goals and perform cross-departmental planning for all functions involved to meet the project targets and requirements
- Managing risks, identification and resolution of problems and managing baseline changes (Change management)
- Manage and deliver project business case KPIs (profitability, expenditures, …) to target
- Secure and negotiate team resources incl. team assignments, skill set and experience requirements and provide performance feedback and development needs.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering Business or equivalent. (MBA advantageous)
- 10 + years of professional experience within the automotive industry
- Leadership, Assertiveness, Teamwork, and ability to lead and motivate others.
- Knowledge of project-planning tools and methodologies.
- Proven leadership experience within a matrix organization
- Experience in setting and managing customer expectations and interacting with senior leadership
- Business, financial and communication skills
- Familiar with international project management methodologies (incl. agile)
- Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
- Good understanding of technologies within the business environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a project & resources plan, including change management
- International/intercultural working experience
- Ability to support organizational Change Management
- Very good command of spoken and written English / other languages advantageous.
- PMI/PMP certification
- Willingness to travel
